Marriage – such a beautiful, elated yet occult word – that has been mesmerising the maximum number of people  (trump rather) of all over the  planet earth – generation after generation –  unrelentingly - undoubtedly.  In our very own country of India , the marriage, the matrimony, the wedlock  is the most prestigious yet sublime institution. It is considered as a kind of worship actually – over here in our motherland.  Obviously the bride resembles a Goddess. Hence, the makeup of a bride in the day of her nuptial is so very important to each one – who is concerned

with the lady (intricate with the wedlock rather). It is known by all of us – that our beloved India figures on the oracle yet pursuit - ‘Unity in diversity.’ This extensive country has a manifold of provinces – each of them has own sole culture, customs, rituals etc. (yet  none of them is venomous to others too) – which reflects on the make up of the inmate brides also. In this particular ode we will affirm and elaborate (in gratis)  the split  of the bridal makeup in the different provinces of India  – just wait –

  1. Bengali Bride – Bengali brides are season to be adorned with Banarasi saree, matha patti, ornaments made by gold – conquest the hearts of every body (the hearts

    of the elated grooms especially).She comprises Alta in feet yet utmost stunning designs made by sandalwood paste in her forehead.
  2. Oriya Bride – An Oriya Bride has to opt hand work, gota work, traditional headgear in her very very very special day of wedlock.
  3. Assamese Bride – An Assamese Bride has to be laden with the mang tika and obviously the mekhla chadar as her attire.
  4. Maharashtrian Bride – A Maharashtrian Bride embellishes herself with dhoti style saree (paithani), mundavalya, nath, bindi,mogra flowers in her hair.
  5. Gujrati Bride – A Gujrati Bride receives Gharchola from her in laws and Panetar from her parents (both are sarees actually). She entrusts her anchal facing the front to show that.
  6. Kashmiri Bride – We can see the embroidery work in her neck and otheroutfits (saree/lehenga and tarang).

  11. Malawali Bride – Silk saree and floral jewelleries distinguish her from others.
